Molnlycke Mepilex Border Foam Wound Dressing with Safetec Technology from HealthyKin.com is an all-in-one foam dressing that effectively absorbs and retains exudate and maintains a moist wound environment. The Safetac layer seals the wound edges, preventing the exudate from leaking onto the surrounding skin, thus minimizing the risk for maceration. The Safetac layer also ensures that the dressing can be changed without damaging the wound or surrounding skin or exposing the patient to additional pain.

Molnlycke Mepilex Border Foam Wound Dressing Features:

    • Minimizes pain and trauma at dressing changes
    • Self-adherent - no secondary fixation needed
    • Moisture proof and bacteria proof film backing
    • May be used under compression bandages
    • Promotes patient comfort during wear
    • Designed for ease of use
    • May remain in place for several days depending on the condition of the wound
    • May be lifted and adjusted without losing its adherent properties
    • Low potential for skin irritation and allergy

I really like this dressing. It feels great over the wound and absorbs the draining very well. The only drawback is the edges start to roll faily quickly and I have to trim them off and use another adhesive.

Fantastic product! Service is great. I had never had any pressure sores until this past year. This product works very well for me; staying in place and easily peeled to remove.

Great product for my elderly dad who has thin skin and heals slowly. The dressing is waterproof and there is no pain when it comes off. Healthy Kin is a wonderful customer service company that handled my concerns immediately.

My friend has skin as thin as tissue paper. She hurt herself and cut the skin on her shin clear to the bone...really. The wound care specialist used a Mepilex dressing on the wound and my friend was so greatfull that it did not tear the skin off when she dressed it at home. I decided that she, being accident prone, needed some of these bandages at home....so I got some for her. Stays on like glue. Easy to remove to dress the wound and easily replaces. Many thanks for a fine product.

A very good quality product. Stays in place for several hours, but after several hours the ends start peeling.
