      I have lower back pain and severe knots in upper back. This heating has worked like nothing else. It has been incredible for back pain and breaking up the knot. It gets a 3 Star rating for 3 reasons: only one setting, no timed auto off and only a one year warranty on a very expensive unit.

      I purchased my first Thermotex infrared heating pad 14 years ago while doing massage therapy. So I didn't have to share, 4 years ago I purchased a second unit for my boyfriend. Both units work great....still.
