      Great for my needs. I use this drain sponge around a nephrostomy tube suture, put another plain gauze pad on top, and finish with a tegaderm window adhesive so my dressing will remain waterproof. This is actually a box of 35 double packs of sponges. They can be used as is or for more economy, be separated into 70 3 ply sponges. For more absorption if needed, try it as a 6 ply sponge first.
