The Safety Grip hand grip was designed in collaboration with Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, Canada's largest academic rehab facility. Safety Glo technology is passive and self charging; no batteries needed. The hand grip will recharge in regular room light. The top of the rail is textured for a sure grip. Safety Glo is intended to assist repositioning in the bed, to balance getting into or out of bed. The hand rail is designed to comply with FDA regulations regarding bedrails. Safety Glo hand rail fits beds with a box spring. Additional cross bars adjust the hand rail for your mattress height or user's preference. Easy installation does not require tools. Pieces snap or buckle together and straps encircle the box spring.
