    I bought the shortest possible for my calf circumference size but they are still way too long and not much different from the taller ones I first ordered. I am tall for a woman and usually have to order long for everything. These specifically warn to NOT go over the knee and besides when I tried that, they just rolled right back down to under the knee. I cannot let them bunch tight because that causes so much extra compression that it cuts off all my circulation and makes an excruciating amount of leg pain, so when I just fold them back down to halfway down my lower leg (!) they now cause double compression where folded which makes my pre-DVT edema still affect the lower half of my lower leg and the top where I started the folding down also compresses so hard that it leaves a bruised welt in a whole ring around the area. Every couple of hours I have to try and refold it to a different spot and the doctor's APRNP has to still Ace compression wrap the lower half of lower leg to equal double compression, which is exactly the issue of medical care we were trying to eliminate. Please please please make a version about 6 inches shorter because other than that, these would indeed be wonderful. I am amazed that more women have not complained of this issue because most women are much shorter than I am.

    I prefer closed toe, but they don't make in xxx size. Other than that, socks are great and you can't beat the price anywhere else!
