The clinically-proven graduated compression pattern helps ensure optimum blood flow velocity. The stockings are available in a wide range of sizes, which helps facilitate proper fit and ensure the clinically-proven compression pattern.     I used these stocking after I had my knee replacements. I started using them on my 95 year old mother because her feet and legs were swelling. She sits a lot. I saw an emprovement and tried finding them in Health stores. I had a stocking that the mate had been lost and the type of stocking was on the foot. so I finally found these stockings and I love them
